Border Stylo is looking for an Administrative Assistant.
Border Stylo seeks a dynamic Administrative Assistant to support the Business Operations department. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of operational duties including drafting correspondence, answering busy phones, and managing the office calendar.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Administrative Assistant will be in charge of managing the reception area. Duties at reception will include handling a busy switchboard, greeting visitors, and receiving deliveries. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will be expected to assist with daily operational needs around the office.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring the office operates within the necessary degree of efficiency and cleanliness
- Controlling access to the building
- Managing the office supply process
- Running errands for office needs as required
- Scheduling job interviews
- Assist with managing online information services (the office “wiki”)
- Maintaining the company birthday and anniversary calendars
- Assist with organizing office meet-ups set-ups
- Keeping the office orderly, organized, and clean
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree
- Requires at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Position requires fluency in Spanish
- Position requires superior customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle pressure a must
- Strong attention to detail coupled with keen analytical skills
- Quick thinker with ability to problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organized and efficient
- Proactive, goal driven personality
Our hope with this position is that it will serve as a stepping-stone into the company for further responsibilities with departments that could expand and include: Accounting, HR, Strategy, Marketing, Biz Ops, and/or IT. In addition to daily responsibilities, the selected candidate should have a strong desire to find an area of our business that they’re interested in, latch on to it, learn, and get involved in the daily execution of necessary tasks.
