Marketing Internship

Border Stylo is looking for a Marketing Intern for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011. The position offers a unique opportunity to join the company during the beta release of its first product, Glass. This position is for a currently-enrolled undergraduate. The internship is unpaid and the candidate must be able receive school credit.

We are looking for a creative and quick-minded intern with an interest in social media. The intern must be highly organized and detail-oriented. This internship is a great opportunity to be a part of a team and to interact with the leads of our growing department on a daily basis. This position will learn about and help implement new and creative marketing and outreach strategies for Glass and Border Stylo.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementing logistical aspects of marketing campaigns
- Preparing and supporting ‘on the ground’ activities at events and conferences
- Offering creative input and feedback on strategies
- Assisting with the daily tasks, ranging from adjusting product copy to maintaining swag inventory
- Supporting social media outreach and online campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid writing and communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and on deadline
- Interest or background in marketing, PR, social media and/or entertainment
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong research skills
- Ability to be proactive
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be eligible for college credit
