Marketing Manager

Border Stylo is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join their marketing department to help promote the company’s first product, Glass.
This position is perfect for someone interested in live and digital grassroots marketing campaigns, being a part of a start-up environment and collaborating with a team on creative strategies and outreach. A key element of this position is interacting with our most devoted users who are the biggest advocates of Glass. The qualities and responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include:
QUALITIES:
- Interest and background in marketing, PR and/or entertainment.
- Enjoy interacting with evangelist users, both online and in person.
- Interest and knowledge of experiential marketing.
- Experience creating interactive campaigns.
- Experience with social media.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM.
- Street team or brand ambassador management experience, a plus.
- Creative and able to produce live campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and expand our evangelist marketing program on college campuses.
- Execute all logistical and creative elements for outreach campaigns.
- Monitor and maintain multiple on-going SEO and SEM campaigns.
- Present complex campaign concepts, to the company and externally.
- Produce events where users can interact directly with the company.
- Draft product and feature proposals.
- Develop an extensive knowledge of the product.
- Assist the QA team in testing marketing-related features and scenarios.
- Maintain consistent messaging and lexicon across product and media.
- Work well with our growing team on all creative and logistical elements.
REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years of relevant marketing, PR or entertainment work experience and a sincere passion for social media. Ideal candidate will have a love for creativity and media. Excellent writing skills required.
This is a great role for a Marketing Coordinator looking to take their skills to the “next level.” Fear of robots attempting to overthrow their masters, a plus.
