Sr. Business Development Analyst

Our rapidly growing start up is looking for a Senior Business Development Analyst.

This position reports to the VP of Data Products and is responsible for helping develop Border Stylo’s new products and enhancements to the existing product portfolio. The Business Development team is tasked with driving new product and brand initiatives including building a wide range of services including extending existing capabilities in alternative platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide product ideas and feedback for management consideration
• Design and architect new products, features and services
• Deliver products and projects on time
• Provide clearly communicated status and milestones to executive stakeholders on a regular basis
• Oversee the collection and evaluation of product and partner performance reporting and make recommendations to senior management as necessary
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Must have excellent quantitative skills, a fearlessness to be qualitative when numbers do not cut it, and an uncanny ability to see through chaos. Candidates must articulate product development roadmaps, as well as manage projects. Candidates should have a passion for social media, a solid understanding of web development and a strong proclivity for technology. Candidates must have 2-4 years of product and project analysis and development experience. Must have demonstrated creative skills, and this is not a throw-away line, we really look for it. Requires excellent written and communication skills, and show attention to details. End of the day, we are looking for someone who can use good logic; we will not test candidates with “how many cabs in the city of New York” or any of those meaningless puzzles, but may deconstruct arguments.
